Greg Stoever, Pastor-Elder (staff)
Greg (DMin, The Master’s Seminary) has served as the primary preaching pastor at RCG since January 2000. He oversees the preaching, teaching, corporate worship, leadership training, and shepherding of the church. Originally from Oklahoma, he came to faith in Christ in 1977.
Extending from his ministry at RCG, Greg serves occasionally at pastoral training centers in Germany, Switzerland and Haiti. He is on the board of directors with More Than Bread, Haiti, and serves as an adjunct faculty member of The Cornerstone Bible College & Seminary in Vallejo, CA.
Greg and his wife Laurie have been married since 1989. They have four adult children: Lindsay (husband Dave), Zach, Jordan, and Tyler (wife Katy) – and four grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with their kids and grandkids, bike-riding, kayaking, reading, and following Oklahoma Sooner sports. Greg’s prayer and pursuit is to walk worthy in the immeasurable love of God in Jesus Christ, and help others do the same (Ephesians 3:14-21).
Tim Ingrum, Pastor-Elder (staff)
Tim was raised by Christian parents and came to believe the gospel at a young age. After growing up in Bakersfield, he came to northern California to study at UC Davis. He began attending RCG as a college student in 2006, became a pastor-elder in 2015, and joined pastoral staff in 2019. He is married to Willie, and together they have four children: sons Everett, Solomon and Ambrose, and daughter Toviah.
Tim counts it a great privilege to work among the flock at RCG as a servant of the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. His responsibilities include preaching, overseeing Equipping Hour, and training leaders. He holds a Master of Divinity from Cornerstone Seminary and a Master of Theology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is working on a PhD in New Testament at the London School of Theology.
Gary Francisco, Pastor-Elder
Gary came to faith in Jesus Christ on a Tuesday in 1976 and began attending River City Grace on the following Sunday. His wife is Cindy and they have 3 married children, Margaret (husband John), Blair (wife Marci), and Emily (husband Sam) and 15 grandchildren.
Gary has served in various roles over the years. He has served as a Pastor-Elder 1995 through 2009 and currently since 2014.
Gary is committed to the vision statement of River City Grace Community Church, “to see God exalted as his grace and truth in Jesus Christ abound in and overflow to more and more peoplme.”
Jason Kenney, Pastor-Elder
Jason came to saving faith in July 2004 while – quite ironically – in the process of converting to Judaism. A member of River City Grace since 2006 (except for a brief period when his family relocated), Jason has ministered in a variety of roles at the church before serving as a Pastor-Elder. A regular teacher and preacher at the church, Jason also serves as the Children’s Ministry Director.
A long-time Californian, Jason completed his undergraduate degree at California State University, Sacramento and holds two master’s degrees from Reformed Baptist Seminary (Master of Theological Studies, Exegetical Theology and Master of Divinity). Vocationally, Jason works for the State of California, having been appointed to his position by two different Governors. Jason is happily married to his loving wife Sarah, with whom he has two children, Logan and Raegan.
Sam Cook, Deacon
Sam Cook has been attending River City Grace since October of 1984. Sam attended Sacramento Bible Institute and graduated with the class of 1975. During his time there he had the privilege of ministering at the Union Gospel Mission in Sacramento as his Christian service assignment. After graduation he became a full-time staff member, before moving on to the Pajaro Rescue Mission where his main ministry was pulling a classroom trailer and holding good news clubs around the Monterey Bay area. He also served as the youth ministry coordinator at Aromas Community Church, in Aromas, California, before moving back to the Sacramento area. Sam has been involved in our ushering ministry, teaching in the Equipping Hour, our Aegis outreach ministry, as well as occasionally preaching in our evening gatherings. He met his wife Kathy here at River City Grace and they have been married since 2004. One of their joys is serving together as a team in several of our other ministries.
David Duran, Deacon
David Duran has attended River City Grace since 2001 and became a member after he married Christina in 2002. They currently have thirteen children. David serves as treasurer and on the Finance and Administration Committee. He enjoys helping in communications and serving in practical matters.
Austin Leung, Deacon
Growing up in the Bay Area, Austin began attending church at a young age and became saved during summer vacation bible school. When he started school at UC Davis in 2012, he also started attending River City Grace. After graduating, he left River City Grace to attend graduate school in Boston. In God’s providence, Austin returned in 2021 to get married to his now wife Wendy, whom he met at UC Davis as an undergraduate student. He was publicly affirmed as a deacon in 2024. Austin serves as an usher Sunday mornings and assists with baptisms.
Rodney Mitchell, Deacon
Rodney and his wife Stacy have been married since 2002 and have attended River City Grace since 2001. They have four children: Nathan, Eden, Thomas, and Lauren. Rodney oversees the church’s audio/visual needs and serves on the Finance and Administration Committee.
John Gedeon, Deacon
John Gedeon has been attending River City Grace since 2008. He and his wife Maggie have been married since 2002 and have five children. John serves in various areas primarily around technology needs of the church and was officially recognized as a deacon in early 2022.
Zach Stoever, Deacon
Zach Stoever was raised by loving Christian parents, and was graciously saved by God at a young age. He became a member at River City Grace as a young man in 2008. In addition to serving in the audio/visual and music ministries at RCG, Zach also volunteers of the junior high & high school ministry
Outside of RCG, Zach works as a part-time member of the marketing team at the European Bible Training Center, a Bible training center located in Germany and Switzerland, and also works as a full-time employee of the State of California.
