Greg Stoever, Pastor-Teacher

Greg Stoever has served as Pastor-Teacher of River City Grace since January 2000. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Master’s Seminary in 1989, and has been involved in full-time pastoral ministry since then. Being convinced that the Gospel is “…the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…” (Rom. 1:16), Greg’s passion is to see Jesus Christ exalted and His grace extended through the verse-by-verse preaching of God’s Word.

Greg has been married to his wife Laurie since 1989 (a special graduation gift!), and they have four children: Lindsay, Zachary, Jordan, and Tyler. In the flow of being a husband, dad, and pastor, Greg’s hobbies include bicycling, various sports, reading, and woodworking.

Steve Meister, Associate Pastor

Steve Meister joined River City Grace as Associate Pastor in January, 2009.  He graduated from the Master's Seminary in 2007. Before coming to River City Grace, Steve served with a Christian international relief organization which fired his deisre to proclaim the eternal glories of Christ to sinful men in a cursed world.  His passion is to "take pains with these things, be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all.  Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching, persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you: (1 Tim 4:15-16)

Steve has been married to his wife, Jenn since 2002 and they enjoy serving River City Grace together in ministry.  They are the grateful parents of a son, Jonathan Edward. Steve also enjoys good coffee and old theology.

George Ehrhardt, Elder

George Ehrhardt is an Elder and Secretary of River City Grace. He is married to June and has three grown children - Carl, Barbara, and Steve and a boatload of grandchildren. George and June have been members of River City Grace since 1967.

Over the years, George has served in nearly every area of ministry there is at River City Grace. He is currently preaching every Sunday afternoon at the Aegis Assisted Living Facility near the church. George has also been instrumental in maintaining the church facilities over the years.

Smokey Nevins, Elder

Robert (Smokey) Nevins is married to Patty and has nine children: Robbie, Lucy, Andy, Daniel, Lila, Amy, Steven, Emma, and Timothy. He has attended River City Grace since 1981.

Smokey is involved in overseeing the Equipping Hour and outreach to visitors to River City Grace. He also has the opportunity to fill the pulpit and preach on occasion. He loves to share God's Word. For many years, Smokey was the worship leader at River City Grace.

Eric Steen, Elder

Eric married Stella in 2002, and they have one beautiful, energy-filled son, Jack.  Eric began attending River City Grace in 2001 and counts it a joy to serve college students as part of River on Campus (ROC).  He also serves on the church's finance committee and periodically teaches the Equipping Hour. 

Sean Wallentine, Elder

Sean is married to Doria, and they have three children: Caleb , Joshua , and Ezra . He and Doria have been attending River City Grace since 2001.

Sean is an ordained pastor. During his time at RCG, Sean has served in various ministry capacities: preaching/teaching, youth ministry leadership, finance committee and men's discipleship.

Gary Francisco, Deacon

Gary Francisco has been attending RCG since 1976.  He is married to Cindy, and they have three grown children and four grandchildren.  Two of his children's families also attend RCG.

Gary has served in various ministries at the church through the years, including serving as an Elder from 1995 to 2008.  He has now turned his focus to leading the Missions Commission.  He continues to lead a Men's Bible Study.  He led an RCG Mission Trip to Cambodia in 2005.
