In light of the many commandments and instructions Scripture gives for believers to pray (such as Mt. 6:5-15; Eph. 6:18-19; Col. 4:2; 1 Thess. 5:16-18), we pursue this priority corporately with a weekly prayer meeting. It takes place at the beginning of the Lord’s Day on Sunday mornings. This is currently scheduled for 8:15 a.m. at the church. We gather for 30-45 minutes to pray primarily about the anticipated ministry needs and focuses of the day before us.
